About Tavazo Nuts

Tavazo Nuts, founded by the renowned Haj Ali Yousefpour, began its journey in the city of Tabriz over a century ago. In 1305 AH, the late Haj Ali Yousefpour chose the name "Tavazo" for his business, bringing together a variety of nuts and dried fruits under one roof. He opened a shop dedicated to selling these products, laying the foundation for what would become a significant contributor to the production and distribution of dried fruits.

Tavazo Dried Fruit has earned three medals for superior product quality from the Ministry of Agriculture, a testament to its excellence. The brand’s widespread domestic and international customer base reflects its strong and consistent performance, while the satisfaction evident on customers' faces speaks to the high quality of its products. Tavazo’s reputation as a leading dried fruit brand is no coincidence—it is the result of relentless effort and perseverance.

A unique aspect of Tavazo was its pioneering customer-friendly policy: "The item sold will be taken back," an unprecedented approach in the business at the time. After establishing his shop in Tabriz, Haj Ali Yousefpour later moved to Tehran due to various circumstances and went on to open several large stores in the capital. As the business expanded, the increasing demand led him to establish a factory in Karaj, ensuring he could meet the growing needs of his customers.

One key factor behind his success was the experience he gained as an apprentice to his father, Hajj Agha Tavazo, from an early age. Under his father’s guidance, he learned the art of customer relations, which, combined with his dedication and passion for the business, helped make Tavazo a globally recognized brand.

The success of any brand hinges on multiple factors, and one of the most crucial is product quality. Tavazo was no exception; by maintaining exceptional standards, the brand's reputation extended beyond Iran’s borders. After establishing major stores in Tabriz and Tehran, followed by a factory in Karaj, Tavazo expanded into international markets. Its products were exported to several countries, including the United States, Spain, and Germany, receiving an enthusiastic response. Saudi Arabia was the first country to recognize the superior taste and quality of Tavazo nuts, becoming an early importer of the brand’s products.

A hallmark of any distinguished brand is the high quality of its offerings, and Tavazo has consistently upheld this standard, setting itself apart from competitors. Today, foreign tourists visiting Iran make it a point to purchase from Tavazo's nuts and dried fruit shops—further proof of the brand’s enduring popularity and appeal.
